About the event
This online Mario Kart tournament has been created to support JDRF, the world's leading funder of type 1 diabetes research.
All registered players are sent via email a tournment code which is not to be shared. Players then compete in 12 online races anytime between 5:00pm EST and 8:30pm EST on tournament day. (Note: A Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe online.) Type None Grand Prix Streaming Partners will be streaming the tournament live for the duration of the event. Viewers will be able to donate to the Type None Grand Prix fundraiser on the JDRF website. Once the $200 stream donation goal is reached, the top donor will receive a $10 Gift Card to Target or Walmart!
