EVENT DETAILS

MAIN EVENT - QUALIFYING ROUNDS

Heat 1 and Heat 2

  • 64 players (max) in each round

  • Four Nintendo Switch setups with 4 players competing at each setup

  • Players race against different opponents in each round

  • The amount of race points each player earns in each round is added together

  • The top 16 players based on race points advance to the Final Rounds

MAIN EVENT - FINAL ROUNDS

Top 16, Top 8, and Top 4

  • One Nintendo Switch setup with 4 players competing at a time

  • Each race is displayed on a large projector screen for the audience to watch

  • All matches are streamed live on Twitch and YouTube

  • Players advance based on race points earned

BONUS EVENT

Cure Cup

The four participants who raise or donate the most money compete in four races.  The winner is awarded a special prize that is announced on the Type None Grand Prix social media channels.

Tie Breakers

Qualifying Rounds, Top 16, and Top 8:

The player who raised or donated the most advances. If the amounts are equal, the players race on 1 random course with the same settings used in that round.

Final Rounds and Cure Cup:

The players race on 1 course with the same settings used in that round.  The player who raised or donated the most picks the course.
